Sisters of Magic and Mystery is a three day event, happening September 7th, 8th and 9th, 2009. This event is open to women who perform magic, who work with magicians, or who simply love magic. Together, we will create a circle of sisterhood, where we will share in group discussions about what it means to be a woman in the world of magic, the challenges we encounter and how we deal with them, and how we weave together the many worlds of performance and relationship. We will have special guest presenters, including Luna Shemada and others. We will have the opportunity to perform for each other and receive feedback on how we can take our magic to the next level of excellence. We will learn hints and tips on costuming, make-up, and which trickswork the best for us ladies....

The Magic and Meaning Conference is a distinctive, annual small-group conference that focuses on creating meaningful magic routines, effective scripts, and new venues for performance. If you love magic, storytelling, motivational speaking, the philosophy of magic -- or want to learn more about it -- this is the place to be!The 2009 conference will feature Keynote Addresses by Jeff McBride, Eugene Burger, Robert E. At this Special Master Class all of the performances and all of the talks and breakout sessions will be on the subject of MENTALISM. Eugene and Jeff will share their thoughts on Mentalism for Magicians. And our Special Guest for the Class will be ROSS JOHNSON, perhaps the most successful corporate mentalist in the United States. This is a RARE appearance for Ross because he does not write books and rarely speaks to groups of mentalists. We are thrilled to be able to spend several days with him finding out what has made him so successful.
