Welcome to the McBride Magic and Mystery School!

There are many places you can find out how various magic tricks are done -- but very few where you can actually learn how to do magic from true masters. Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger are just such master magicians, and the Magic & Mystery School is widely known as the premiere institution for the study of magic in the world.

Lesson One is an introduction to the Art of Magic, and it consists of several elements:

There is an introductory interview, provided via a video download, in which Tobias Beckwith interviews Jeff & Eugene on subjects you'll want to know about if you're new or relatively new to magic. Why do we do magic? Do I have to practice a long time? What are some of the basic principles of magic? Why don't magicians want to reveal how tricks are done? During the interview, both Jeff and Eugene teach one of their favorite "beginner level" tricks. These are not only baffling, but easy to master, and will provide you a good introduction to the experience of performing magic for others. It can be quite a rewarding journey!

In addition you get to choose one of several different magical effects that you would like to master. The effect is included in the price of the first lesson, and will arrive in your mail box a few days after you place your order.
